YURAKUCHO · PRIVATE ROOM / BUSINESS DINNER

7 Restaurants with Private Rooms Near Yurakucho for Business Dinners & Get-Togethers

These days, a Tabelog or Google score alone doesn’t tell me whether a restaurant is genuinely right for an evening. I go out drinking around 300 nights a year, in all kinds of settings. These are seven places I’ve used myself and would recommend to others.

Most are within a five-minute walk of Yurakucho Station.
I’ve considered the food, the private-room arrangements, the atmosphere and the location, with honest views on how each works for hosting guests or a business dinner.

My picks for meals with guests and business contacts around Yurakucho.

How a place works in person matters more to me than its score.

When I’m hosting guests or meeting business contacts, flavor isn’t the only consideration. Can we talk comfortably? Does the seating feel settled? Is it easy to meet there? I chose these seven based on how they worked for me in practice.

The interior is attractive, and the food is genuinely good. I find it an easy choice when I’m hosting a meal or entertaining a business guest.

It’s a little farther from Yurakucho Station than the other places here, but the calm atmosphere makes the walk worthwhile. I keep it in mind when I want time to talk properly with someone.

THE R.C. ARMS — Yurakucho

A longtime favorite with a good atmosphere

THE R.C. ARMS in Yurakucho.

For a casual business meal or dinner with someone I know well.

I’ve been coming here for years. The food is good, I like the atmosphere, and it works well for an everyday business meal.

Personally, I was disappointed when the ordering system changed to require registering through LINE. Since then, I’ve stopped using it for important client dinners. Practical details like that matter, so I don’t want to leave them out just because I otherwise like the place.

Private rooms, and my favorite food of the seven
Tori no Rikyu in Yurakucho
Tori no Rikyu in Yurakucho.

For a dinner where the food comes first.

There are both private rooms and seats in the main dining area, so I can choose according to the occasion. Above all, I think the cooking here delivers.

On food alone, this is my clear number one among these seven. If I’m hosting a dinner and want to be confident that the food will be good, it’s a strong choice.

Toribaka Ichidai

Yakitori for a small group
Toribaka Ichidai
Toribaka Ichidai.

For a small group who appreciate good yakitori.

The yakitori is outstanding. When grilled chicken skewers are the reason I’m choosing a restaurant, this is a dependable pick.

On the other hand, the seating feels a little tight to me. I’d use it for a small group who want to focus on the food rather than a large gathering.

For a meal where an easy meeting point matters most.

Compared with the other places in this article, I find the food and atmosphere a little less impressive.

But its access from Yurakucho Station is excellent. When people are coming from different places, or I’m organizing a meal for a larger group, that location is a real advantage.

NEO-SNAPPER CARNAVAL.

For a less formal dinner where the atmosphere matters.

The interior has a bit of flair. I find it a useful choice when I want the setting to add something to the evening.

It feels less formal than a traditional Japanese restaurant, so I’d choose it for business guests I already know well or a dinner I want to keep relaxed.
